In The Storyteller, I’ll coach and support a close friend or family member to deliver your introduction and love story, before I step in to complete the legal words. What The Storyteller includes:

Meeting 1: We sign the legal pre-ceremony marriage paperwork and chat about your ceremony vision
Meetings 2 & 3: Your chosen speaker and I meet to co-design the ceremony script
Meeting 4: We meet to finalise the ceremony script in a meeting with you (the couple) + your chosen speaker + myself to finalise the script
Meeting 5 (optional): We rehearse the finalised ceremony script
Lodgement of the Notice of Intended Marriage
Communication via emails and phone calls to answer all your questions (and your chosen speakers questions!)
Guidance with vows, readings, and personal touches — with unique templates and resources to make it easy
Legal components of the ceremony script drafted and finalised

Arrival at the ceremony location before the ceremony to check everything runs smoothly
Delivery of approx 20–30 minute ceremony: your chosen speaker tells your love story in their words, combined with the legal parts delivered by me
Completion of all legal requirements, including facilitation of the signing of marriage paperwork and your very own decorative marriage certificate

Lodgement of all marriage paperwork with the Birth Deaths and Marriages
Confirmation once your marriage has been formally registered
Guidance on how to obtain your Official Marriage Certificate which is issued by Births Deaths and Marriages office once I’ve lodged all paperwork

Travel fees may apply for ceremonies beyond 150 km from Brisbane, depending on location and logistics.
Ceremonies need two witnesses by law—if you need me to provide them, there’s a little extra cost.
