Hi there! I'm Lauren.

I’m a Brisbane-based celebrant with NT roots, a love of beaches, backyards, and waterfalls, and a knack for turning weddings into moments people actually remember. I stumbled into celebrancy in 2023 when I read at a family wedding, and by 2024 my closest friends had basically drafted me into officiating theirs. Standing at the front, watching them walk down the aisle and glance at me for the signal, I thought, Yep. This is my jam.

It makes sense if you know my history. In school leadership roles, I practically lived on the microphone at weekly assemblies. That mix of confidence and connection has followed me into every role since: eldest daughter (well this one was from birth), tennis coach, consultant, mentor, and now (possibly my favourite one yet) professional wedding sidekick. I love helping couples create ceremonies that feel relaxed, joyful, and completely theirs — with me quietly making sure nothing goes wrong.

In every role I’ve had — from consultant to coach to celebrant — I’ve learned the value of focus. When you concentrate on the things you do best and give them your full attention, the result feels thoughtful, polished, and full of care. That’s why I’ve designed three core offerings, each crafted to deliver the kind of ceremony I love most.

• The Short & Sweet — For couples who want the simplest, most intimate kind of ceremony. I love officiating these small moments where it’s just you, two witnesses, and the words that make it official.

• The Signature — For couples who want something small but rich in meaning. I love learning your story, crafting a script that makes me the best third wheel, and helping your nearest and dearest really feel your love.

• The Storyteller — For couples who want a deeply personal touch. I love guiding a loved one to share your story in their words, adding the kind of meaning you usually only hear in a maid of honour or groomsman speech — but woven into your ceremony.

That said, I’m always open to chatting about bespoke ceremonies, weddings or not. If you have a unique idea, I’ll happily have a conversation to see if I have the skills to make it happen!
